PREPARATION

Shower and exfoliate entire body with exfoliating gloves or loofah. It is best to wax or shave at least 8 hours before tanning. Avoid perfume, deodorant and makeup; they can act as a barrier. Moisturising should be done at least 4 hours before otherwise do not moisturise until after post tan shower.

We recommend you wear under pants or G – string. Some people prefer to wear bra or swimming costume as well, that is up to you. Choose dark colour clothing. Spray Tan washes out of most materials but may stain light coloured nylon.

Wear loose clothing and shoes to your tanning session. Running shoes and socks are not advised.

MAINTAINING YOUR TAN

• We recommend leaving it on for 8 - 12 hours before showering.
• Moisturise every day. This will make your tan last longer.
• Do not take long hot baths or soak in the swimming pool or spa. This will accelerate exfoliation and fade your tan.
• Don’t exercise the day of your tan session. Excessive perspiration can affect the tanning process.
• Do not use lotions containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids.
• Tan will last 7-10 days.
• Top up tans can be applied within 3-4 days if required.

SUNSCREEN

Air Brush tan offers no protection from the sun. High factor sunscreens and regular moisturizing are always recommended when sitting for prolonged periods in the sun.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

Tan should not be used on clients who have psoriasis, eczema, cuts and abrasions or during the first trimester of pregnancy.
